Charlotte Sohy (7 July 1887 - 19 December 1955) was a French composer. She studied at the Schola Cantorum with Alexandre Guilmant, Louis Vierne and Vincent d'Indy. As a composer, Sohy is the author of masses, songs, piano pieces, trios, string quartets, as well as a symphony and a lyrical drama, L'Esclave Couronnee. She also writes plays and a novel. After her death, Sohy's works were not published or recorded until 1974, when her grandson François-Henry Labey began to make an inventory of his grandmother's manuscripts. Sohy's catalog, edited by Présence Compositrices, has 35 opus numbers.
