Karen Gomyo is a classical violinist who was born in Tokyo, Japan and grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Gomyo attended the Juilliard School of Music, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and the New England Conservatory of Music. Her teachers and mentors have included Mauricio Fuks, Dorothy DeLay, Donald Weilerstein, and cellist Heinrich Schiff. At 15, Gomyo won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions, launching her international career as soloist and chamber musician. Gomyo is also acclaimed for her interpretation of the Nuevo Tango music.

Ismo Eskelinen (born 1971) is a Finnish guitarist. He studied with Oscar Ghiglia, Timo Korhonen and the pianist Ralf Gothóni and on master-classes with Manuel Barrueco, Oscar Ghiglia and Leo Brouwer. His repertoire spans music from the 16th century to the present day and he has been equally acclaimed for his performances of J.S. Bach as for his premieres of works by composers such as Rautavaara, Sallinen, Tiensuu, Olli Mustonen and Fagerlund. He has performed extensively all over the world, and is extremely popular on music festivals. Eskelinen’s discography can be found labels such as on Ondine and Alba.
