Andrea Dieci graduated from the “Verdi” Conservatoire of Milan. He also studied with Oscar Ghiglia in Siena, and attended masterclasses with Julian Bream. Winner of the Special Prize at the 1989 ARD-Musikwettbewerb, Dieci has performed extensively all over Europe, in the USA, Central and South America, Africa and Asia. His 14 CDs are released under MAP, Nuova Era, Bèrben, DotGuitar and Brilliant Classics labels; he is the only guitarist to have recorded the complete solo works by Toru Takemitsu, Heitor Villa-Lobos and Hans Werner Henze. He is currently teaching at the Vecchi-Tonelli Conservatoire in Modena.
